Changing My Ways for 2013

Hello there.  I wanted to pop in for a short post.

If you “like”  me on Facebook, you most likely saw this post yesterday:

After I posted this, I got a little sad because I don’t expect to come anywhere near this mileage for 2013.  Running almost 413 miles in 2012 left me with a huge sense of accomplishment.  It’s strange because my yoga accomplishments in the coming year probably won’t be able translate into something as concrete as miles.  My yoga accomplishments will be abstract, like shifts in perspective and things of that nature.  I can be a little bit left-brained when it comes to personal records and data, so I might struggle with not being able to track and record the same way with yoga.  I do, however, think my brain will welcome this change as I learn to stop obsessing over numbers.

I can’t wait to see what the next 6 months will bring, and I want to thank you in advance for reading about my journey and supporting me along the way!

While you probably won’t be seeing as much running stuff on the ole blog in 2013, you can definitely expect to see plenty more recipeas!
